Mahalo Nui Loa, Mr. Freeman

Dear Mr. Freeman and the Freeman Foundation,

Thanks to your generous contribution, I am honored to receive this opportunity to study abroad. I will be able to rekindle my Korean heritage and broaden my international perspectives at South Korea.

I am currently a junior majoring in Marketing and International Business. I had valuable experiences from the International Business Organization where I learned a lot from the scholars’ presentations about how their lives have impacted and what they have gained from studying abroad. Not only it broadens your perspectives, but it challenges you to adapt to the culture and it gives you the once-in-a-life opportunity to study at a place where you dreamed of. I am excited to be an upcoming scholar and I am looking forward to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible and help the students who are interested in studying abroad in South Korea.

I am pleased to say that I will be attending Sogang University in Korea for next semester where I would meet new people and immerse myself into a new educational system. It was always difficult for me to come out of my comfort zone, but I am excited for the upcoming challenges that I will face soon.

Once again, I would like to show my highest gratitude for your contribution. I hope to show my progress and share your mission by going to another country to learn more about their language and culture. Thank you very much for your utmost support.

Best regards,

Hana Mukaida
