Good news! Sogang has a special designated period ONLY for the exchange students. They let you register for the course about 1 month prior of regular Sogang students however, all of the courses are provided with specific quota. My best recommendation is to be the early birds to secure the courses that you want to take. I logged in as soon as the registration opened and the classes were filled rapidly.

Since the registration period is early, the course list is more of a draft version. As we approach March, there'll be more courses being added and more syllabi will be available. If you would like to take a look at the course syllabi, you can refer from previous semester because the syllabi will be very similar. Also, just a heads up that there's a possibility that the course may be cancelled due to low demand so please make sure to have 2 or 3 backup courses.
Here are some helpful tips:
Activate your Sogang University's online system (SAINT) "before" the online registration day:
Sogang will send you a student ID number and password through email. You'll have to activate the account in order to have access in the course registration system. I recommend logging in couple days prior and get familiar with the SAINT portal system so you don't get confused and panic on the day of the registration.
Do browser setting for SAINT portal:
I had trouble logging out on SAINT portal and the course registration page so please make sure to change your browser settings beforehand. You must allow popups for http://www.sogang.ac.kr/ in order to log out. Sogang gives you a Pre-departure handbook on how to do this so you wouldn't be lost.
Check the course registration period! (If you didn't get the courses you need? Don't worry, there's a course revision period in the first week of school):
As soon as the course registration period is closed, your course lists are temporarily hidden from the SAINT portal system. You'll not be able to access your course list during that period. Even if you didn't get the course you need, don't panic because Sogang gives you another chance. There's a revision period from March 3-6 (first week of school for Spring semester) that the course registration will open again and you can add/drop courses. Also, during this period, regular Sogang students will do the same. Due to this situation, leftover quota for freshmen to seniors will be added onto the total numbers of students in each class. There will be additional spots available during this period so there's a chance that you can enroll in the class you need.
Know the exact time of the online registration
The class registration period is shown in Korean standard time so make sure you'll convert time zones to figure out the time in your location.
